The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service. The Specialist will provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice. Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is a requirement. The Specialist will be required to cover Monday to Friday and any rostered after hours on call requirements which may include Saturday and Sunday. There will be clinics scheduled in this period. Experience in Breast and Haematological malignancies preferred. We will provide accommodation if available, hire car and reimburse reasonable flights if required.
