The Position
An exciting opportunity exists for a General Medicine Consultant to join a dedicated team providing high-quality, patient-centred care. The role covers the full scope of Internal Medicine, including acute and undifferentiated presentations, complex comorbidities, and consultative input for perioperative and multidisciplinary care. You’ll deliver inpatient, outpatient, procedural, telehealth, and on-call services, while also contributing to clinical handovers, junior staff supervision, and quality improvement or research activities. Key areas of practice may include stroke, perioperative care, infectious diseases, mental health in medical settings, refugee and Indigenous health, and transitional adolescent care. Consultants are expected to work within their scope and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.

- Demonstrated experience in complex internal medicine across acute and ambulatory settings.
