The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service. The Specialist Gastroenterologist must have GESA. The Specialist will work 0800-1700hours each day with on call overnight from 1700-0800hours each day. The Specialist will be required to cover ward rounds, scope lists and clinics, as well as cover on call. Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is a requirement. Daily rate is $2500per day (24hour period) all-inclusive as per NSW Health capped rates. We will provide basic accommodation/allowance, hire car and reimburse reasonable travel.
