The Position
An experienced and committed Consultant in Emergency Medicine is required to provide contemporary, comprehensive, and patient-centred care within a busy regional emergency department. This role involves managing acute and undifferentiated presentations across all age groups, with responsibilities including airway management, trauma care, resuscitation, procedural sedation, and the initial treatment of life-threatening emergencies. In addition to clinical duties, the role includes supporting and mentoring junior doctors, contributing to clinical governance, and participating in the development of emergency care systems. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining safe, effective care and promoting the wellbeing of the wider medical workforce.
