The Position

A permanent Consultant Psychiatrist is sought for a well-established Adult Inpatient and Community Mental Health service. While relocation is ideal, a consistent FIFO arrangement (e.g. one week on/one week off with telehealth) may be considered. You’ll manage a primarily adult caseload, including some adolescent presentations with conditions such as ADHD, PTSD, and D&A, while also having the opportunity to work with TMS, with training provided if needed.

Essential criteria

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia in Psychiatry
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent
• Membership of the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry (or equivalent experience in adult mental health care)
