Narrabri District Health Service is searching for experienced GP ED VMOs to provide exceptional care in this vibrant rural community. With a 28-bed inpatient unit that includes Obstetrics, a busy Emergency Department managing 12-25 presentations daily, and an Operating Theatre, you'll enjoy a diverse and rewarding clinical experience. Shifts run for 12 hours, either 0700-1900 or 1900-0700, depending on GP availability (Supported by the local GP when available) and whether the theatre is in use. Locums are also required to be available for second on-call during the opposite 12-hour shift, but this will only apply if critically needed. Emergency surgical assistance may also be required.
