The Position

Step into a vital role with a respected regional mental health service in NSW, where two Consultant Psychiatrist positions are available to drive exceptional, person-centred care across acute and community teams.

The first position is a split role (0.5 FTE Acute Care Services / 0.5 FTE Mental Health Emergency Care), ideal for a psychiatrist who thrives in high-acuity settings. You’ll provide clinical leadership across a 24/7 emergency pathway, supporting timely interventions for individuals in crisis.

The second role sits within the Community Mental Health Team, managing a diverse caseload across the lifespan. The focus is on continuity of care and long-term recovery, delivered through evidence-based treatment in an integrated regional network.

Both roles suit psychiatrists who value clinical leadership, service innovation, and meaningful regional practice.

The Hospital

This progressive regional hospital offers comprehensive mental health care, with dedicated inpatient units and a 24/7 Psychiatric Emergency Care service. Its co-located Community Mental Health service delivers both urgent and ongoing support, ensuring seamless care across age groups and acuity levels.
