This exciting opportunity in Roxby Downs involves providing daytime general practice services at a mixed billing clinic, alongside a rotating 1 week on / 1 week off roster for emergency department on-call support at the collocated Roxby Downs Health Service.

The ED is supported by SAVES (South Australian Virtual Emergency Service), covering 7pm–7am daily. This means locums are only called in overnight for Category 1–2 presentations, offering a better work-life balance during on-call weeks. The clinic team is highly experienced in adjusting daily patient schedules to accommodate emergency callouts, ensuring manageable workloads.

There are no surgical or obstetric responsibilities at the hospital, making this ideal for GPs with emergency skills who prefer not to handle procedural cases.
