The Position
A dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist is required to join the Adult Community Mental Health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for adult patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and trainees. Additionally, you’ll participate in case conferences and professional development activities, contributing to a supportive, dynamic environment that promotes both personal and professional growth.

Essential criteria
- Medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) and specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia in Psychiatry
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry or equivalent
- Membership of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry - Faculty of Adult Psychiatry, or equivalent
