The Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Consultant Intensivist to join a high-performing Intensive Care Unit within a leading tertiary hospital in New Zealand’s North Island. This is a diverse and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to deliver high-level critical care, contribute to service development, and provide clinical leadership within a supportive, team-based culture.

Your responsibilities will include providing specialist care to critically ill patients, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, supervising junior doctors and registrars, and contributing to teaching, audit, and research. The department is accredited for Intensive Care Medicine training and has a strong focus on multidisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and clinical excellence.
