This role is ideal for a Fellowed GP seeking a rewarding position that combines general practice with on-call emergency care. The daily shift runs from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, followed by on-call availability for critical Category 1 cases. Emergency Telehealth Services (ETS) manage Category 3, 2, and most Category 1 cases overnight, with the doctor only required to attend if ETS cannot manage a Category 1 presentation. The hospital sees an average of 2-6 ED presentations daily and approximately 20 GP clinic patients per day. The hospital is equipped with 6 inpatient beds, with no on-site pathology services and limited X-ray facilities. Nurses assist with pathology needs as required. Travel arrangements include direct flights from Perth to Onslow. If direct flights are unavailable, travel to Karratha is arranged, followed by a 3.5-hour drive to Onslow. Accommodation is provided.
