The Directorate is introducing a clinical leadership model placing service leaders at the heart of strategic decision making. The aim is to ensure teams are clustered around common patient groups with a focus on clinical quality, safety and health outcomes whilst delivering economic sustainability. As the Service Clinical Director you will ensure the clinical safety and quality of the service; and manage the service?s clinical workforce of 30 FTE. == The Position == is negotiable from 0.8 FTE to 1 FTE with a minimum 20 per cent component dedicated to leadership. For suitably-qualified doctors there will be the potential for an appropriate University appointment and the opportunity to grow the research portfolio within the Directorate. To be successful in this challenging and rewarding position you will have the ability to lead and develop a team effectively to promote quality outcomes for the service whilst supporting the overall strategies, goals and values of the District Health Board.
