As an accredited training role, you will get an extensive range of experiences including with Indigenous culture and outreach clinics. Supported by an intern, RMO and supervised by two fully accredited AFRM Fellows, you will assist with a mix of adult cases ranging from stroke and neurological to brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputee. On outpatient shifts, cases may also include chronic pain and prosthetics.   An immediate start is available for this salaried position and the opportunity to salary sacrifice is available. The Hospital The main hospital, which contains 360 beds, provides emergency, critical care  and trauma support and is a major regional health provider in the area. It provides general medical, surgical, obstetric and ICU services for a population of approximately 160,000. It also includes a 24-hour Emergency Department with approximately 68, 000 presentations annually. As for the rehabilitation unit itself, this year it will transition to a new 116 bed site with brand new modern facilities. == The Location == If you want the opportunity to live and work in a truly diverse city then this is the job for you.
