The Position
An exciting position is on offer for a Specialist/Consultant to work within Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You will play an important role in providing contemporary, comprehensive, and professional services to the Lower Hunter Region. You will have the opportunity to help shape future doctors and develop your leadership skills, through educating and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students and team members. This is an opportunity to grow within your career and work alongside a supportive management team to ensure state-of-the-art healthcare is provided to the local community.
The Hospital
This hospital plays an important role within the healthcare systems as it is a major rural referral hospital that provides services to the expansive Lower Hunter Region. You will be working in a brand-new facility as of January 2022, providing a modern and comfortable environment for both you and your patients. The hospital provides a range of services including medical and rehabilitation, surgical and day surgery and maternity and child services, Emergency and Critical Care. Mental Health, Dental and Renal services are also provided.
The Location

Essential Criteria
To be successful in applying for this position you must hold the following:
- Specialist qualifications with RANZCOG and be registrable as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with AHPRA.
