You will work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to offer personalised care. If you are looking to influence the future of Radiation Oncology in Queensland, this will provide that opportunity. In addition, this is your prospect for involvement and leadership in further education and research. You will work collaboratively with a group of over 20 Radiation Oncologists, from the group’s 8 departments, with weekly State-wide educational meetings and chart rounds. Senior clinicians act in a mentoring role for all junior colleagues. =The Hospital= This established centre delivers quality care to the residents of the Wide Bay region. The service operates as a Public/Private partnership with Queensland Health. The centre is busy with an experienced, local medical team who are committed to developing into a leading regional oncology centre of excellence. The centre opened in early 2018 and in addition to high utilisation of IMRT/VMAT techniques and DIBH, it is stereotactic body treatment capable. The practice operates on an Elekta platform, Monaco planning system and uses the Mosaiq Oncology Information System. Currently the 2 Linacs are capable of VMAT, IMRT, OBI and DIBH, as well as SABR. =The Location= The Fraser Coast is one Australia’s fastest growing regions.
