The mental health service provides care to an adult and older adult population. Expansion of the services is currently underway. The second hospital is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of services including a purpose-built mental health unit, which provides mental health services through its youth, perinatal and consultation liaison psychiatric services. Additionally, there are 8 beds in the Mental Health Assessment Unit.
