The primary purpose of the position is to develop and lead a comprehensive ICU. As the Clinical Director you will build relationships with clinical leaders across the Emergency, Surgery and Anesthetics departments to ensure that the ICU performs at best practice and integrates patient care effectively. There are currently 3 intensivists in the hospital and the unit is supported by SRMOs and ICU registrars, the hospital has also recently been accredited by the college as a foundation training site. = The Hospital = The hospital is a 240-bed hospital providing services including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine and subspecialties including cardiology and surgery. The ICU is an 8-bed unit with redevelopments to increase the beds in the ICU to 12-beds by the end of the year. An oncology department will also be established as a part of redevelopment. =The Location= Located 45 minutes from Albury and 2 ½ hours on the freeway to Melbourne, the vibrant city is surrounded by beautiful countryside, the Alps, and wineries.
