You will be responsible for patient treatment plans that aid the timely management of patients.  You will be expected to record your clinical notes, participate in clinical audits and peer reviews.  As a Specialist you will also be involved in teaching junior staff and medical students. This position has the potential to grow into the Director Surgery position over time.   The Health Service You will be based at a 64 bed acute care public hospital providing general surgery, general medicine, obstetric, paediatric, oncology, renal dialysis, high dependency care and emergency services. On-site seven day a week services include radiology, pathology and emergency surgery. The hospital is well supported by Visiting Medical Officers.
