You will be confident in emergency situations and experienced in the skills of advanced life support. Your knowledge will extend to critical illnesses and conditions such as renal failure, respiratory failure, cardiac failure, sepsis and seizures. The CCU itself is a 9-bed unit, primarily dealing with coronary care patients but is also accredited as a level four ICU. Admissions are received through a variety of sources including inter-hospital transfer from the ED, from local GP surgeries or wards at the nearby public hospital or Cardiology Consulting suite. = The Hospital = You will be joining a supportive team in a state-of-the-art private hospital.
