= The Position= You will be working with a team of seven Radiation Oncologists with a variety of specialist interests. Although you will be required to work as a general Radiation Oncologist there is potential to develop an area of subspecialty cancer interest. The department is supported by a team of registrars, nurses and a psycho-oncology service. You will also be working in partnership with Medical Oncologists, Haematologists and Palliative care Physicians. =The Hospital= The hospital is a 350-bedhospital which provides services to a population of approximately 170,000. The cancer treatment service covers a wider area with a total population of 560,000. The regional service includes Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Haematology. =The Location= Located on the North Island the city is a blend of city and rural living, surrounded by breathtaking parks, rivers, and mountain ranges.
