This is an exciting opportunity to add value with your experience and skills to the development of a rapidly growing & developing Regional Emergency Medicine Service. The Hospital The hospital is major referral centre located two hours drive from the state capital of Perth. It boasts a modern and spacious Emergency Department which is the largest rural trauma service in Western Australia and sees 38,000 patients per year, 25% of which are paediatric and 25% of which are admitted acutely. == The Location == This city is seemingly mixed into a lush seaside setting with the major benefits and conveniences of a major city. There are 14 public primary schools and 5 public high schools as well as 10 private schools of primary or K ? 12 orientation. For continuing tertiary studies there is a large TAFE facility as well. There is a good variety of affordable and reasonable properties for rent.  == Essential Criteria == To be eligible for this position you must have current Specialist (current ACEM Fellow) registration or be eligible for Specialist registration with AHPRA. If you are sitting for your FACEM exams this year, you are welcome to apply for this position too.
