Sydney, New South Wales   A GP is needed to provide on-site medical care at an industrial site in a coastal location in Sydney?s beautiful south!   You will earn $1,650 per day all inclusive.   You will be leading the development and implementation of medical, injury, first aid and emergency management facilities, equipment and service. You will be required to provide a continuity of care to the workers on-site and instigate health care like general medical services, skin checks, vaccinations, pre-employment medicals etc. There will be further tasks like supporting employees and workplace management in the development of early intervention, rehabilitation, and return to work programs, the development and implementation of ?best practice? initiatives in consultation with the workplace team, to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives for your area of responsibility etc. ·        Interest/ skills in Mining or Occupational Health as well as Emergency Medicine would be beneficial. You have to be both NSW Work Cover and Commonwealth approved and have knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation and Injury Management Systems.   The coverage required is a minimum of 7am ? 5pm Monday to Friday and 7am ? 2pm on Saturdays. This may be shared depending on the number of doctors employed. A contract of 3 months witn aview to extend is on offer. The project site is located 37km from Sydney CBD.
