We are seeking a well versed General Surgeon; experience in endoscopy is highly advantageous. You will be an essential member of the already established team, engaging in teaching; conducting clinical ward rounds and outpatient?s clinics. On call is 1:5, the department covers a wide array of surgical services providing you with diversity. The department is very well supported with a number of training registrars, PHOs, interns and RMOs. The Hospital This recently redeveloped; major referral hospital services approximately 135,000 people within the region and has just over 300 beds and 7 theatres. The hospital has 24,000 general admissions per annum, undertakes 95,000 outpatient services and the emergency department sees roughly 36,000 presentations on an annual basis. == The Location == At the heart of the region is a vibrant city with lovely Art Deco buildings and streets lined with palm trees.
