You will be part of a multidisciplinary and multispecialty team approach to cancer care that will enable you to make full use of every aspect of your training and experience. There are two current vacancies and == The Position ==s will be support by 1 PHO and 1 RMO, a team of 6 allied health staff and outreach radiology oncology services.   With brand new faculties scheduled for completion in 2014, you will have increasing opportunities for research and clinical trails. Additionally you will be required to contribute to the overall service delivery and development of the service and participate in ongoing professional development.   The Hospital The hospital is a modern facility with approximately 130 beds and provides accident and emergency, general medicine, surgery, gynaecological, intensive care, paediatric, renal, orthopaedic and palliative care services. The 24 hour Emergency Department sees 38,000 presentations per year, 20% are paediatric, 40% of which are over the age of 60 and 15 ? 20% of which are admitted acutely.   The hospital is also home to the state?s rural clinical school and boasts lower student to teacher ratios, increased ?scrub ins? and highly values the presence of the students. 2011 saw the completion of a $4.27 million pathology lab, which was developed in order to assist in providing essential services to the growing local population.   == The Location == With a population of approximately 63,000 residents, this coastal town has safe sheltered waters making it an aquatic paradise, perfect for year-round swimming, diving, sailing, water sports and fishing.
