Any 2-4 week periods (or longer) would be considered.   Hours are 8am-4pm, however somewhat flexible around this. You will generally work about 60 hours per fortnight and be on call nights and weekends. On call is for queries over the phone only, you will not be called in to the prison.   Hourly rate is $136.90, and the on call hourly rate is $11.08 - so your renumeration will equate to approximately $1200 per day.   Part time hours would be considered if 2 doctors are interested in sharing the locum.   Accommodation, flights and car will be provided for the duration. The job will involve general practice work only, in a dedicated health centre based inside the prison.
