You will work closely with GP colleagues and you will be required to participate in the re-call and after-hours service; there will be no overnight on-call allowing you the opportunity to make the most of your time off. The Hospital This facility has 195 beds and provides acute, sub-acute and aged care services. The hospital admits 10,000 patients and provides 30,000 outpatient services annually. The emergency department sees 16,000 presentations yearly, approximately 3,000 of which are admitted acutely. The medical ward has 67 acute beds and 16 subacute beds and is located alongside a modern theatre suite and a newly built emergency department. Attached to the hospital is a 90 bed facility which houses an aged care facility, the rehabilitation unit, outpatient services and consulting suites. The health service has extensive continuing education support structures for staff to develop their skills and abilities to achieve their job and career aspirations.
