If the Medical Officer is willing to work every weekend then there is a special roster which does not include night shifts with more flexibility in the shift times eg a 10hr shift starting at 1000hrs or 1200hrs. This roster is subject to availability.   Supervision is provided - ED Consultants work weekdays 8am to midnight and weekends 8am to 6pm and are on call outside of these hours.
