The service covers an area of some 300 000 square kilometres, and provides care for many of the remote communities within the region.  The 80 bed hospital provides a wide range of primary, secondary and community health services.  The pharmacy department provides a range of services including OP dispensing, counseling, clinical pharmacy, ward supply, methadone clinic and outreach pharmacy.   == The Location ==:  Known as the Western gateway to QLD and located just 200 kilometres from the Northern Territory, it the largest city in the world and known for its many tourist attractions.  The city is connected to the rest of the state with daily air services, train services and coaches to and from major centres. With a cosmopolitan flavour 23,500 people enjoy living in this modern community, with abundant restaurants, excellent health care, shopping, churches, clubs, service clubs and social activities one would expect to find in a community.   The Job: Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will deliver a high level clinical Pharmacy services to patients and clients in a health care environment.  The Pharmacy services will include general dispensing, conducting ward rounds, monitoring prescriptions, ordering, dispensing and monitoring oncology medications, performing medication chart check and liaising with other health professional and doctors.
