It has 4 delivery suite rooms and 14 obstetric beds and provides for low and medium risk deliveries. Medical staff here comprise of 4 consultant obstetricians and 7 (VMP) GP-obstetricians. Private and public care options are available to patients.   The hospital campus is currently undergoing major redevelopment which will transform it from a 71 bed secondary hospital to a 228 bed general hospital. The increase in beds will be accompanied by an increase in specialist doctors, GPs, full-time and part-time nurses and allied health staff.   == The Location ==:   This hospital is located on the coast 40 minutes south of Perth and its location offers a relaxing lifestyle with the beach and cafes on your doorstep.   Crystal, blue waters surround the suburb and the endless array of things to do have been drawing visitors for years.
