You will start each morning with inpatient rounds at the hospital from 8.00am - 9.00am.  Then the morning clinic session runs from 9.00am - 12.30pm and afternoon session 2.00pm-6.00pm (or until last patient is seen). Current GPs see 30-50 patients a day. There is always a doctor rostered on as second on call should assistance be required. You will earn $130 per hour or 60% of billings, whichever is greater + GST (neg). Self-contained accommodation and petrol reimbursement/travel from Adelaide will be provided. == The Practice == The mixed billing practice is located in a converted historic residence that is now a fully equipped, air-conditioned medical clinic. It is spacious, featuring 7 modern consulting rooms and very pleasant to work in. It is fully computerised, utilising Medical Director. You will be supported by a full time practice manager, practice nurse along with eight competent and supportive receptions staff and IT support. You will be working with 1-2 other GPs, depending on the roster. The hospital and health service has 95 beds for people with an acute medical condition, adults and children, surgical, obstetric, palliative care and care for people over 75 years of age. == The Practice == is conveniently located in the heart of the city within a short distance of the local hospital. Several pharmacies and cafes are located just around the corner. == The Location == This friendly rural city is just over 2 hours from Adelaide.  There is plenty to do in the city on weekends: go fishing, visit museums, art galleries and the many surrounding beaches. You will find everything is within an easy reach. Expect all the services you?d find in a large regional centre (including 7 day shopping) without the stress of big city traffic and crowds!  Current temperatures are 11-25 degrees.
