You will work alongside three other doctors who specialise in skin cancer, cosmetics and women?s health. You will also have a support team of two receptionists and one nurse. == The Practice == is conveniently located in the centre of town, next door to a pharmacy and ten minutes from Townsville General Hospital. == The Practice == is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. There is no on-call requirement at present, however if you are willing to help with on-call (possibly 1 call in 2-3 months and 1 session 6-10pm every 2-3 months) then this will be well remunerated for that little something you might be saving up for! == The Location == The town is located approximately 12km from Townsville. Townsville is approximately 1300km north of Brisbane and 350km south of Cairns.  Its proximity to the Great Barrier Reef, as well as the numerous attractions that Townsville has to offer, has seen its popularity rapidly increase over recent years. Townsville attractions are far ranging and include typical beach holiday activities, as well as all the amenities that a large city has to offer. == Essential Criteria == In order to be eligible for this exciting role, International Medical Graduates are required to hold post graduate qualifications in General Practice (i.e. FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MRCGP, MICGP or CCFP), or alternatively hold General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). General Practitioners who have recognised post graduate qualifications from New Zealand, the UK, Ireland or Canada are eligible for reciprocal recognition with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Wavelength International will assist you with the required regulatory and immigration process.
