Nearest major hospital is Campbelltown (50mins), then Liverpool (60mins). The doctors in our ED are mostly regular experienced casual/locum staff. There are generally 2-3 doctors on in ED, except at night (2200-0800hr), when there is only one. While there is good on-call back-up by specialists (General and Orthopaedic Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Medicine, Anaesthetics, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics) there are only a few Staff Specialists at the hospital during the day (General Medicine, Paediatrics, Geriatrics). GP/VMOs take on the Admitting Officer role. == The Location == This hospitals location has become the bourgeois capital of the Southern Highlands, and as such, hosts many boutique stores, restaurants, and a hell of a lot of cafes.
