They have a practice in Ascot near the domestic airport and in the last 2 months have opened a practice in the cbd too hence they are expanding. They have different client base - in the cbd they do pre-employment etc and good potential for GPs as city workers want to come in and get a script then go back to work; so the consult fee is a lot higher than in a suburban practice. The Ascot practice is fly in fly out mining; more industrial. Slightly different GP work; neither place does family GP or elderly people. Not a family GP practice. They do some onsite work so depending on his situation he could get involved in this if he likes - ie on site skin screening - people needing things removed etc. Long term appealing to them. CCH is parent company but if doc is interested in some kind of partnership further down the track that's definitely possible. Sandra came through Wave and she is loving it there! She didn't come from a corporate health background but all fine - she's loving it. Earning potential: percentages - they charge $90 per consult plus over $150 for pre-employment... working full time the doc can expect to earn up to $350k per annum.
