You will participate in the 1:4 on call roster where the registrar is 1st call.   You will practice a full spectrum of ENT including head and neck tumours and paediatric cases, giving you the chance to fully utilise your skills and experience. At a minimum you will have one full and one half theatre sessions per week and a half day of outpatient clinics per week.   Teaching is an element of the role and you will be required actively engage in teaching and supporting junior doctors and other health professionals.   In 2012 the ENT department saw 769 admissions, 516 operations and 884 procedures performed.   The Hospital You will be working in a teaching hospital with over 320 beds that provides services for a regional population of around 160,000.
