If you are successful you will only be required to work 3-4 days a week giving you the opportunity to take long weekends exploring the natural beauty of New Zealand and immersing yourself in the cultural delights on offer.   Your main duty will consist of impatient clinics on the ward and you will not be required to undertake ECT duties or be on call for the duration of the locum.   The great benefit about this appointment is that you will be renumerated at locum rates with flights and accommodation all provided by the hospital.   The Hospital This hospital provides specialist care to a community of 160,000. Annually the 223 bed hospital sees 40,000 presentations at the Emergency Department, delivers 2,000 babies, performs 540,000 outpatient services and admits 46,000 patients. It has 23 renal dialysis beds, a 7 bed ICU and High Dependency Unit, 7 surgical theatres and a 31 bed Mental Health and Clinical Support Ward.
