No car is provided in Alice Springs or the communities. Taxis and at times staff will be able to drive you around Alice Springs. - You will work Monday-Friday during the day (approx 8am-5pm, though flexible). - No on-call or evenings You must have recent experience working in remote communities and indigenous medicine. You will also need to have extensive relevant post-graduate experience which must include general practice. Qualifications in public health and rural health would be advantageous. You must be trained for Implanon insertion. You will be working as a member in a primary health care team, travelling by car or light aircraft to remote communities. You will work in clinics during the day only. You will be required to stay in the communities during the week, and accommodation is provided in Alice Springs over the weekends.
