I need a GP/SMO to work in a small town in the Mackay region from 8am 7 February to 8am 14 February 2011.   The Hospital   You will be working alongside one other doctor. Hours will be 8.30am - 5pm in a general practice, and you will be on call (very quiet) for a small hospital for the duration of the locum.   Pay rate will be $2100 per day for a doctor with FRACGP ($1900pd non-VR). Accommodation, meals, car and flights provided. You will need to fly into Emerald and then drive out (approximately 1.5 hours).   == The Location ==   This is a quiet and attractive rural township near the beautiful Peak Ranges. You?ll be transported back to Australia?s early gold rush days ? as it?s one of the oldest inland settlements in tropical Queensland.
