Therefore you will be required to provide clinical leadership and supervision/teaching for junior medical staff as well as other clinical staff. == The Position ==: You will be working in a department that has a strong commitment to excellence in clinical, education, quality, and research activities. Your team will consist of 8 full time consultant anaesthetists, 11 VMO anaesthetists and 3.5 full time ICU specialists as well as an Acute Pain Nurse. The anaesthetics department runs a 24 hour roster with 8 registrars, 2 direct recruits to the hospital, 5 others rotating from tertiary hospitals and a GP registrar. == The Location ==: This city is a thriving regional centre located in the heart of Victoria, offering an alternative to the metropolitan lifestyle whilst retaining the social culture and educational attributes.
