The hospital is linked with the Canberra Hospital so you can be sure that the hospital will be able to tailor the role to your specific and individual training needs.   There is also an opportunity if you wish to complete a critical care year where, for example, you could complete an additional six months in ED, three months in ICU and three months in anaesthetics. == The Position == is for an initial 6-12 month fixed term period and comes with excellent FACEM support. You will typically be on four 10 hour shifts per week with minimal night shifts required. If you do happen to be placed on a night shift, and are a trainee you will be pleased to know you will be paid locum rates for the entire shift! Otherwise weekends work out to be roughly 1:4.   The Hospital This fully accredited 250 bed public hospital sees over 50,000 ED presentations annually with a 20% admission rate.
