The role calls for a clinical expert who is consultative and collegiate, solution-orientated, flexible and enthusiastic, while engaging the team and community as a whole to drive a contemporary service. == The Position == will be accountable and responsible to the Director of Clinical Services and Chief Psychiatrist. In keeping with the value of collaboration, == The Position == will operate in partnership with other members of the executive of the Division.  The Clinical Director and the Operational Director will work together to ensure high-quality outcomes for the people who use the Adult program. == The Position == is well supported by medical staff. It is expected that approximately 75% of your time will be focused on clinical service delivery and approximately 25% will be allocated to the other administrative duties. The Health Service With a well-resourced budget this mental health service provides contemporary evidence-based mental health services guided by the principles of recovery to a population of half a million. These include inpatient and community based services that aim to be integrated, accessible and responsible to consumers? needs. The service adopts a multidisciplinary team approach to clinical care, and has a commitment to ensuring professional standards are maintained. The recently developed Adult Mental Health Unit is state-of-the-art and there is further funding for enhancing sub-specialty and community mental health facilities. The linked Medical School has significant funding and commitment to employ specialist medical staff to boost the teaching and training of medical students.
