During winter the town is quiet and the on-call will likely not be too onerous but as the only GP there over the weekend so you must be confident working as the solo practitioner and have excellent emergency skills. 24 hour nursing support is available. The clinic includes 13 low care nursing home beds, 8 nursing home residential beds and 4 acute beds, an A&E facility, procedures room, x-ray and 24 hour nurses room.  They use Medtech.   == The Location == This popular seaside holiday town located along Victoria?s famous coastal route offers plenty of swimming and surf beaches as well as great fishing, diving and kayaking. The Great Otway National Park is easily accessible and you can explore the park by walking, horse-riding or cycling. The 91 km Great Ocean Walk passes through the national park and takes you from the 12 Apostles to Apollo Bay.
