On a day-to-day basis you will utilise your high level of knowledge, proficiency, skills and experience in order to provide quality clinical care to patients. At the private facility you will be working with one other consultant general physician and will be reporting directly to the Executive Officer.  This position provides you with the rare opportunity to step straight into a well-established and busy private practice allowing you to have a lucrative salary package. In the public facility, in addition to ward rounds, you would share your knowledge with other medical staff by participating in their supervision and training. The Hospital You will be working at an acute private hospital that was established in 1999. The hospital has 93 beds and serves a population of approximately 50,000. The services offered by the hospital include general surgery, general medicine, obstetrics, gynaecology, oncology, palliative care, after hours medical service, radiology, pathology and visiting special clinics. == The Location == You will be living in a gorgeous town that is located on the central coast of eastern Australia. It is 550 kilometres north of Brisbane and lies in an inlet of the Coral Sea.
