As the Head of Department you will provide leadership to an established and cohesive team of doctors, consisting of 3 GP Obstetricians and nurses. In this role you will have teaching responsibilities with medical students and junior staff members, with complex cases sent offsite. The role involves more Obstetrics than Gynecological responsibilities with a midwife model of care and the department sees approximately 500-600 deliveries per annum.  The Hospital: This 75 bed hospital is an award winning regional hospital acknowledged for its innovative programs and practices. Serving a local population of approximately 10,000 and a wider catchment population of around 37,000, this Multi-campus health service has close university affiliations with Deacon and Flinders University.
