New GPs are initially supported in on-call work with a backup GP available for consultation. == The Location == The town is close enough to Melbourne (1 hour by road) to provide city style entertainment and shopping, while far enough away to give a real village atmosphere and country life-style. The town is located half way between Melbourne and Bendigo to the North West of Melbourne. Melbourne's bays and peninsulas feature beautiful beaches, fine food and wine, chic beachfront towns and a variety of family attractions.
