They host visiting specialists as well as allied health professionals, including a physiotherapist who visits once a week, a diabetic educator who visits once a month, and a mental health councillor who is available every Thursday. They see approximately 600-800 patients per month on average. The town also has a hospital with a permanent doctor residing there. The patients who attend the surgery conduct themselves in a friendly courteous manner, and they do not tolerate any violent or drug seeking behaviour.
