They are seeking to appoint a Consultant General Physician with sub-specialty interest for a service that serves a regional catchment population in excess of 200,000. Hospital services provided include General and Specialist Medicine; General Surgery as well as Orthopaedic, Urological, ENT, Ophthalmic, Vascular and Plastic Surgery; Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Paediatrics; Psychiatry and Extended Care.  The city itself has a population of approximately 90,000 people and is famous for it?s gold mining history. The legacy of this period is still evident in the majestic architecture and wide tree-lined streets of the town today. Central Melbourne is only an 80-minute drive away. Victoria has a wealth of activities and attractions.
