This is a fixed term position to cover parental leave and can be taken up in May 2013 for 1 year. You will join five other physicians working in the respiratory field. A general respiratory and sleep background is desirable. == The Position == is part time (0.45 FTE) while additional time in General Medicine and/or Respiratory may be available later in the year.   The Hospital You will work in one of the top five major tertiary hospitals in New Zealand. This hospital has modern facilities and the general surgery department primarily provides a secondary level service for acute and elective general surgical patients. The hospital serves a population of over 900,000 people and is the region?s main emergency and only trauma service, with a rooftop helipad providing a link to surgical, intensive care, neonatal intensive care and emergency services.
