The hospital covers all aspects of secondary health care including general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology and ophthalmology.  Acute and elective surgical services are provided on an inpatient and day patient basis. Outpatient clinics are also provided for gynaecology, ophthalmology, urology, orthopaedics and general surgery. It also provides a 24-hour acute/emergency service and an ambulance service. == The Position ==: You will be providing an anaesthetic service for obstetrics (caesarian and epidurals), intensive care and pain control. Your role will require you to provide supervision, instruction and facilitate a learning environment for junior medical staff. You will also conduct anaesthetic clinics, ward rounds, operating sessions and other duties including the participation in the roster that provides 24 hour, 7 day week cover for anaesthetics. == The Location ==: You will be living in a region of big skies, wide valleys and small towns, full of character.
