You will earn $150 per hour or 70% of billings, whichever is greater. The health centre is open from Monday ? Friday 9.00am ? 5.00pm.  Appointments are booked at 15 minute intervals.  There is no oncall or afterhours required. You will not see any emergencies as they are referred to the nearby hospital. This will be a perfect locum for GPs with an interest in chronic disease and refuge health. Patients demographics include patients who are socially disadvantage, refugees and patients with complex psychiaric problems.  This friendly large health centre offers  access to a wide range of health services including psychiatry (PT consultant), mental health, physio, podiatry, occupation health, counselling. Pathology is available onsite Monday-Friday 8.30am ? 12.30pm.  The health centre also has other sites nearby with dental services. The health centre provides special services directed at the needs of refugees. There may be times where you will be working solo but there will always be nursing staff available for support. As the health centre services a significant refuge population, dedicated refuge nurses as well as qualified health interpreters are here to assist you and the patients.
