Working within the Psychosis Academic Clinical Unit and across the Addiction and Mental health service, you will support the strategic direction and ongoing development to maintain the quality of both services. You will be working both clinically and to provide supervision to medical officers and RANZCP trainees, making sure all patients and medical staffs are treated fairly, respectfully and with understanding. The Health Service This health service is responsible for providing public health services to a large and diverse geographical area. Servicing an estimated residential population of approximately one million people or 23 per cent of Queensland?s population, it is one of the largest health providers in the region. It offers community mental health services, inpatient services and acute care services to patients of all ages across a range of programs such as child and youth, adult, older persons, and specialist programs.  == The Location == This young and vibrant city lies in the heart of one of the most diverse and popular holiday regions in Australia. It offers a range of cultural activities, including world-class art galleries, museums, theatres, restaurants, bars and convention facilities. It is an active city thanks to a great climate and fantastic natural surrounds.
